Signs that show that Macbeth is going insane are his thoughts, his dreams, lack of sleep, contradicting himself, and not knowing exactly what he is saying. He claims he has nightmares, and cannot sleep. By contradicting himself he said "I am king, i have the power. But i dont." Then he tried to manipulate the murders by continually talking about dogs. Claiming men are like dogs, then names off atleast ten different kinds of dogs.
I really like the "dog" part. He's almost rambling on about dogs while in his mind, he's all flippin' out and figuring out what to do with all this murderous activity.
